Bodythong Causson Lace Savane Black — Crossback Lace & Controlled Transparency

One unbroken panel of Savane lace — the zebra-wave print running the full length from shoulder to thong — held by a crossback construction that opens the entire rear below the shoulder blades. Two straps converge between them, cross, and the lace does the rest. The front plunges in a wide U past the sternum. The back mirrors it. The leg openings cut high and sharp, framing the body in a clean V from hip to pouch.

In black, the Savane pattern works differently than in any lighter colorway. The mesh ground and the wave motifs share the same darkness — the print reveals itself gradually, in movement, in changing light, as the sheer fabric shifts against skin. At rest the Causson reads as shadow and texture. In motion the zebra-wave resolves, the transparency asserts itself, and what was suggested becomes visible. The body beneath is always there. Black just controls when you see it.

The black binding traces neckline, armholes and leg openings — structural, present, the same depth as the lace so the edge reads as a clean line rather than a contrast detail. The PetitQ badge sits at the right chest in red — the only point of color on the piece, and exactly enough.
